This famous Flag Door in Old San Juan’s Calle San José was painted in Black & White as a sign of mourning, not only for the Island’s Economic Crisis but also for the devastation caused by Hurricane Maria, a tragic event that claimed 2,975 lives. Even today, over 1,000 families are still living in hotels and in desperation: some have rebuilt their homes without proper design or building code. Many Puerto Ricans have felt abandoned during this time. It will take years to rebuild everything that was destroyed. Now is not the time to stop lending a helping hand. All profits from this Tee will be donated to help Puerto Rico get back on its feet.
